The Henry H. Wheeler, Jr. Brain Imaging Center (BIC) is one of three Technology Centers established under the auspices of the Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute. It is a campus-wide resource that supports advanced brain imaging technologies dedicated solely to basic brain research. The BIC houses a Varian 4 Tesla scanner and Neuroimaging Computational Facility that provides the infrastructure for an active collaboration of physical scientists and neuroscientists that work together to further the development of imaging technologies, and thus allow us to probe deeper and more precisely into the dynamic functioning of the human brain.
