What's going on with:
William Jagust is the Principal Investigator of the lab. While he enjoys the creativity of the many lab members, he does not consider himself to be a pastry, bread, or other baked or (as in some cases) half-baked item. He is very busy trying to make sure that the lab is a stimulating and productive environment for the students, fellows and staff who are fortunate enough to have jobs, not to mention ones that pay.
Susan "Apple Fritter" Landau jump started her return to the lab with her mandatory inaugural vacation to Hawaii. We all had a feeling she would return because she never took her yoga ball.
Beth "Chocolate Glazed Donut" Kuczynski recently surpassed Warren Buffet for most successful stock market tycoon in history. People are lining up at her desk for advance on stocks and PLS!
Ansgar "Scottish Crumpet" Furst (aka Pibster) after having a tussle on the runway with Tyson Beckford has once again sworn off the world of international male modeling. Instead he has turned to his second passion and appeared on VH1's Ego Trip's White Rapper Show.
Michael Oliver will be starting his impressive graduate school career next fall in UCBerkeley's Department of Vision Science. Although nothing is official, he is enthusiastic about the Gallant lab.
Felice Sun (lab alum) is enjoying her new position at Neuropace (http://www.neuropace.com/) since October 2005. She is very sad that she caused Suzanne to get a migraine by leaving the JagLab.
Beth "Funnel Cake" Mormino recently finished T.A.'ing the popular "Drugs in the Brain." She owes the success of her teaching from the field research at Burning Man 2006.
Jamie "Rum Cake" Eberling has just completed her first book, "Parkinson's and Porsches"
Amy "Vegan Little Debbie" Gitcho is brilliant!
Gil "Rugelach" Rabinovici not only is a skilled neurologist, but also this past season was recruited to UCB men's basketball team. Ben Braun in an interview after March 8th's Pac 10 overtime victory over UCLA, said - our new point guard, Gil "Tall Man in a Short Body" Rabinovici, led the team in scoring and most certainly deserved MVP. GO BEARS!!
Meredith "Chocolate Cake" Braskie was originally cast along side Mark Ruffalo in the blockbuster "Just Like Heaven." Midway through filming, when offered a post-doc position in the Jagust lab, promptly left the set to start at UCB right away. Rumor has the actress Reese Witherspoon landed the role upon Meredith's departure.
Cindee "Biscotti" Madison, bomb-ass computer programmer by day, after bringing Sexy Back with Justin Timberlake on Dancing with the Stars, now has accepted a part-time position of training young women for the beauty pageant circuit. Cindee was responsible for the spin on the Tara Conner scandal claiming, she snorted it but didn't inhale.
Lieke Wiggers has educated the lab on the many wondrous vacations that can be taken within the US. Our reply was, "National Parks - we have National Parks?"
Suzanne "Nutella Crepe" Baker is awesome!
Jenny "Chocolate Eclaire" Kluth in 2007 is working on breaking the Guiness World record for individual hit most times by an automobile. She is currently up to two! Keep your fingers crossed for her.
Claire "Brownie" Wilcox is a talented psychiatrist has recently started a prestigious project in the Jagust lab. You may recognize her from all the media attention she received in 2004 for buying the heavily sought after "Virgin Mary Toast." Purchased off Ebay, it was a quite a bargain, going for $28,000.
